It's really getting stupid out there with people hoarding perishable products. They were enforcing social distancing at my local Kroger store with security guards controlling the number of shoppers inside the store. Clerks are hiding stuff in the back so that people don't hoard and there are limit signs on how much each customer can get of certain things. City Hall broadcast a message yesterday asking politely for people to go back to their own cities for walking and exercising. Police dept broadcast that they will start issuing tickets ($400) for those disrespecting guidelines at the beach and streets. These are not kids on spring break. Ruins things for residents here as now public spaces are being chained and locked so even taking walks will be limited to residential area and not wide open spaces where people can spread out. At least Trump and Fauci are talking more common sense now about how to make this work better while keeping the vulnerable quarantined without killing the whole nation.
