Well shit, You beat me to it, I was going crush shorts by releasing it after the close, and buy more today LOL.

Guess I need to fly up there "prove" it?

All they need is a wet mist dust suppression of the shredding operation vents, or negative air pressure dust collection, or vent the vacuum of the shredder to the furnace.

They always had to pass start up and operating tests and operate in compliance with RI-DEM air permits, that are based on EPA MACT/BACT.... NSR requirements that RI-DEM operates under, with EPA authorization.

It is not rocket science. All the tech parts, systems, and parts, they are using have been around and tested for decades.

Only difference is they are not just making fuel (pyrolysis) or just burning the waste and venting, both of which are know existing technologies. They are integrating both in a 2 step process, convert it to fuel, then burn the fuel.

Cement kilns world wide have been doing it for decades, Like our ol'friend Randy at Lafarge with the waste to feul cement kiln process.

Only difference here is not making cement, making fuel, converting the fuel to electric power, and making usable solids for sale.

Like hitching a trailer to truck.

RI-DEM's only issue is they have no staff that has permitted one before, so they may be asking for guidance from experts like me.

DEM in other states would have had the public hearing process before issuing a construction permit. Too late now. They will have no legal basis for denying the permit.

If it can not meet EPA air limits under NSR/MACT/BACT limits, then they can sue and refuse to pay the manufacturer and / or force to get it into compliance.

I do not see that happening. US NAVY was doing SBIR waste Fuel R&D grants 20 years ago on this.

I might remind folks that I got a copy 3-4 months ago from the RI-DEM of the pre-costruction permit application.

It is very state of the art, and very advanced, but not un-tessted or untried.

Th Systems is massive, and the permit application and details way over 40 pages.

This is directly from the permit application, and it ain't no hillbilly bonfire system LOL, but folks can still burn their personal waste in back yards in many parts of the US at will, if they have no local city waste service, and ain't no Env. laws to stop them from gassing the neighbors with ash, mercury, dioxins and DHMO from the neighbors lawn sprinklers:
