On Friday Raf posted that his best source told him that BP was waiting
for Judge Du's decision. I hope that means more than one BP is interested
in doing a deal. At this stage I would have to believe that whatever BP
are truly interested have already completed their due diligence and are
waiting for the decision and the 90(?) day letter from the EMA...both
are expected before the end of the month. Whatever BP are likely to
bid for AMRN have had enough time to figure out what AMRN may be worth
to them. I still wonder if a consortium of some kind might acquire
AMRN. BP is in the best position to optimize the value of Vascepa.
The sooner BP closes a deal,the more time they will have to reap
the benefits.
