Good news

Chinese using Gild's new RNA drug and chloriquine...A pill we used in Vietnam to cut the spread of Plasmodium Vivax...Both drugs look very promising in treating patients with COVID-19...

"In a three-page paper published Tuesday in Cell Research, scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s State Key Laboratory of Virology write that both chloroquine and the antiviral remdesivir were, individually, “highly effective” at inhibiting replication of the novel coronavirus in cell culture. Their drug screen evaluated five other drugs that were not effective. The authors could not be reached for comment."

Who says good news won't help Amarin...

PS..Because a drug is effective in cell culture does not mean it will work in Vivo...But the fact remdesivir and Cloroquine both proved effective in cell culture does mean they can cross the cell membrane and that is a biggie. Chloroquine is one of the most widely used drugs ever.

On another front the USA is gearing up testing for COVID-19..and this time the government is committed..Going to be anyone can go get tested.
