Needs some info.

A 44 year old that just got his second stent and is trying to get Vascepa. The dr at the VA won't prescribe it because he is not on a statin because he says he can't stand being on them. I told him you don't have to be on a statin and he told the Dr. that but he still won't prescribe it and told him to go to his regular Dr if he wanted it. I told him he needs to report this Dr.

I went to the prescribing information page thinking that the criteria eligibility for Vascepa may be there but it wasn't. Can anybody sent me a link to the information.
