Usually the status hearing is a simple update with the parties involved and they advise the Court on where they are at with the case and what they intend to do as the next step to proceed. Sometimes they advise the Court that they are in agreement on certain issues or it could be that they don't agree and want to take a certain course of action. I would think attorney's for WDDD would be seeking to get a Court date as soon as possible unless they are having fruitful discussions regarding a settlement. Just my opinion.
