IMO solid points Dude...but I would hate to run this race with my money only on one horse. If somehow the tables turned and the 'place' horse made a strong finish, then a 'win/place' ticket may have been worth a few benjamins lost not covering (to some degree) both of the favorites.

Know nothing about betting on horse racing but a percentage split here on the 2 profitable horses (lol) of the industry makes sense to me. IMO it gives me a chance to grab a piece of both ends rather than 'all or nothing' should the jockey fall off of the leader or his stallion stops to take a shyte somewhere mid race...gl
