Cantor would not expect asset management business from self-directed investors like you or me. We trade free of commissions these days; brokerages rarely make money from likes of us. We use street name as a warehouse to store our inventory of investments.

Cantor better wake up to loss of good will, however. Your experience today is the first time I have heard of self-directed investors being excluded by any other brokerage. With its attitude, I assume self-directed investors were excluded from personal attendance at conference location?
