I grow my own Cannabis Legally (I have a Medical Card) and I brew my own beer.

You save about 50%-70% of the cost when you brew your beer. It is more of a fun hobby than anything. It makes me earn my beer.

BUT, when you grow your own Cannabis - you save 1,000% or more. 5 plants grown correctly can produce about 1.5 - 2 pounds per harvest. And it costs about $60 bucks per harvest.

When Aurora or VFF talk about growing Cannabis for 49 cents or 80 cents a gram - that cost includes TONS of labor expense and salaries.

When you take-out the paid labor aspect - you can grow for about 10-20 cents a gram at home.

However, it does take TIME and EFFORT to grow weed correctly. Most Stoners would just rather buy weed that grow it because GROWING WEED IS WORK. And most Stoners just aren't willing to WORK (key word) for it.
