Correct! It's nothing but corporate strategy. Missling was naïve in giving the MTA to Biogen in the first place.
Why would anyone give their most promising product to their competitor for supposedly (honest?) testing when their is a chance that it can be developed to compete with the existing products held by the larger company.
BIIB used their size to convince Missling that this was a golden opportunity and he bit the bait.
Biogens' real aim is to keep Anavex out of their markets for as long as possible.
Another simple reason for the replacement of Missling.
