Merging FNMA and FMCC accomplishes Nothing !

The only reason this was even suggested is that some in GOVT want to maintain control over these private enterprises to the end of time. Limiting competition in housing will create all kinds of new problems.

This is the same as merging all the car companies together. The quality of the vehicles will go straight into the trash dump.

In the end some in GOVT are petrified of losing control and not being able to manipulate anything and everything in housing.
