Also truth to what you said.But I am talking from experience on my side of the business.I have been in finished lube sales for a major oil distributor for over 45 years.Just 5 years ago I used to do $500,000.00 per month in sales.I did not loose any accounts,now I do $280,000.00 per month in salesThe oil change intervals has killed me,synthetic gear oils and grease has killed me.Everybody is using less.My good friend sells gasoline and fuel oil.Over the last 3 years his sales are down 15% These are not good signs,at least for me anyway
