This partnership is for Tesla. Tesla is touting a million mile battery—lifespan. There is research showing liquidmetal (metallic glass) anodes or cathodes (I cant remember which) significantly improve battery performance and life. Couple this with liquidmetal’s recent automotive certification!!! This is going to be huge. Here is a link about Be based metallic glass and it’s impact on Li batteries. Most of this is way over my head, but it’s obvious that the impact is game changing.
