I've noticed my buys did not show up right away and took some time to fill which is a sign mm's are working. They hide ask and thin the bid which gives the perception that it is going down further and people panic sell which gives them shares and they work the other way they can beat the hell out of any stock and do it all the time.

The problem is inexperienced traders who grow impatient and panic with every tick.
