Whether one takes these recounted calls extremely seriously or not, I don’t, despite respect for all involved. I think people bring their own understanding to every conversation and that can be limiting... However, in my view, they really should actually avoid these calls despite the fact that clearly there are campaigns that would drive down the stock if they refused the calls.

Most other companies I am in do NOT have calls like this recounted on bulletin boards... which is why I find them basically hard to trust. And I do not have my own calls because 1) I do not want to have any information that might not be public, even if by mistake; and 2) I think conversations like these are usually not as informative as the bulletin boards often imply, if you’re listening carefully enough to hear conditioning and other careful language that should surround them.
