Anyone who has occupied a board for many years, without owning any stock, would cause me to question 'Why'? Unless highly motivated to protect 'vulnerable' investors, there really seems little point. How much more productively could one spend one's time elsewhere?
As a new investor, I only joined the board a week or so ago and already have sputnik on ignore. No offence intended but I don't want to hear the views of posters who are constantly 'running interference'. It becomes less an exercise in balanced objectivity and more a mission unto itself.
