I get your point - but I dont agree at all.

It's not right that a small company can be forced to 'sell' be course of manipulation. Maybe impossible to change (your point) - but at least to me its important to 'try to understand' whats going on.

How much do you think - the 80% of debate around the patent trial in this forum changes the outcome ? You could use exactly the same argument (vaste of time) about that !
