Comment forwarded to an investor thinking about getting a position in Atascama, I believe just after the Canadian listing when the stock was begining being pumped up to 50 cents. Many readers probably understand running this scenario better than I.

"The trading history and market depth and lack of any action other than the market maker trades clearly indicate wash trading by the market-makers in a scenario where the shareholders other than the insiders can not trade and only the insiders and market makers trade between each other to escalate the price. The bid at .001 cent may be the only real bid on the board. Though I may be wrong in this, the submitted documentation does seem to indicate this is happening"

He did not invest but many did I guess.
