Your lawyer must be very stupid if he’s telling you the truth
Here’s the deal !
Company’s also have lawyers that they pay good $$$ and be prepared for cases like this
Your lawyer will be the one making $$$$$
You will be the one paying him

You won’t be getting anything from a delisted conpany
Even if you get something it will worth nothing unless you have nothing to do go ahead and waste your time!

If this company will be delisted most likely your stock will worth nothing especially if there are preferred shareholders
They will be the one getting first of what’s left over

You May need to talk to a smart person not a lawyer first
