I remember drugs...not who makes them. I imagine most people are the same. When "Vascepa" becomes a household recognized name...nobody will care if it's from Pfizer or Amarin. Getting Vascepa known takes promotion...no matter who owns it. Which will take time. And IMO...BP won't be able to do it any faster...or thorough...than Amarin.

I like the creative way that Amarin is getting the word out. If Cardiologists are waiting for some salesman/woman to come in and tell them how to treat their patients...in my mind...that Cardiologist isn't a very good one. Cardiologists are specialists. They should be on top of their game. And there is plenty of info out their in their normal 'I want to be a better Cardiologist' network.

NEJM, AHA, ACC, ADA....etc

Maybe we should look more to what Amarin 'has' done... instead of what 'we' think they should do. And then....be patient.
