This is a pretty good example of spreading yourself too thin and not delivering.
Despite the PR, there has been no inventory that is available for purchase in Walmart stores.
It cost money to manage and distribute minor volumes of inventories to many small vendors with no or little performance history of sales.
This smells more like, FUNN inventory that can not be sold (online directly or in FUNN retail stores) so it is distributing its inventory on a CONSIGNMENT basis to as many locations as it can in the HOPES that it creates buzz and that some revenue can be captured.
This strategy is known as a non profitable loss-leader.
The past number of years has proven that FUNN excels at non profitable loss-leaders or building FLAGSHIP (ie. not profitable) retail locations.
