As sentiment_stocks pointed out, Linda took stock instead of cash for Cognate. I like what you have pointed out though as no one has been able to get away with saying that Linda is not smart or clever. She is a business owner and knows cash is limited so she works around that limitation very well and that has kept this company from bankruptcy. When cash is absolutely needed she has it to put in and she has maintained control without using a great deal of her own. I think most investors call this derisking and are glad when they do it but not so happy if someone else does it when they haven't in the same investment. Best wishes.
