The lawyer for Acreage was awarded shares of Acreage that are convertible to High Park holdings shares. That is on the news side bar of the Acreage ihub page. I do not think my Acreage shares have that same ability so I think there could be shenanigans afoot. I am out and waiting for clarity. Not willing to go down with that ship. I always thought, even if the US does not legalize within the 7 year timeline my Acreage would be okay since they are opening stores in a market 10 times the one of Canada and have royalty free rights to the IP of Canopy’s brands for that time. Alternatively when everything came back together and the US did legalize we would be golden. This looks kinda fuzzy to me. If Acreage is being messed with by the rich republicans I want no part of any of them right now.
