I have a theory :

Which states that Wall Street planned this all along.....


That they've had their eyes set on the Baby Boomers Savings (and inheritances) for a good number of years.....


And what better way to steal this demographics' investment dollars, than to dangle a carrot in front of their noses?


Tell them that the drug which they grew up with (and loved) was about to become legalized !.....



Convince them that they should INVEST in the nascent growth industry.....



Even though it actually never stood much of a chance of achieving what had been promoted....




Ride prices UP with them - and then short at the top (as reality and regulations) began to kick in)......



Short 'em all the way right on into the ground.....and then restart the industry from super lows.



They will have snatched up a great deal of money from somewhat naive baby boomers.




I sorta had a sense there for quite a long while (that SOMEHOW Wall Street would devise a way to rip off this demographic)



And it's been a money-grab - Just a huge giant money-grab





So now does any of that sound about right there ?..... Or what ?
