Obviously if there is a BO the generics get paid off and overpaid right away, if it costs $200 million to make them settle they'd just do it for a deal north of $17 billion. Pretty sure there is a price they'd take that Amarin and a BO partner would easily be willing to pay.

In addition, as everyone has noted, they could be in court for years with appeals and other generic suits. If that was a major concern than BO would be off the table.
