if Vic or OTC had broken their tie by the end of Week 17, one would have then been dropped into the runnerup pool...

the point "system" was put in only for the runnerup portion of the pool--for the ease of the scorekeeper and those following along...

as an example, if two golfers are tied for 1st place at the end of 72 holes, and one of them bags a snowman on the 1st playoff hole, he doesn't drop to 5th place---in fact, he gets 2nd even if hit by lightning

I'm always open to change--anything to keep more people playing--we tried a "streak" bonus this year--double-loss for the King was discussed--I'm all for what people want..
