Here's the SEC's press release on the filing of the two (now three; a third was added today) lawsuits:

It was a very big stock manipulation scheme in which the perps facilitated illegal stock sales in a rather large number of penny companies by setting up and executing pump and dump schemes.

The SEC doesn't name all the companies involved, but one of them was SPRN. See the table on page 25 here:
