I think a logical inference is that a potential acquiring company would like to set their own direct to consumer campaign. Pfizer/AZN, whoever would probably have a slightly different strategy on marketing, so assuming Amarin is in advanced talks with the big pharma they have come up with an excuse to delay the dtc campaign.

Anything else make sense?
