Shadolane, even though you were told to change docs in a reply to your post, I fully got the point you were making. It is troublesome to hear so many docs with such an ignorant attitude or opinion.

I don’t expect the vast population to be advocates like most of us here on this board. We take interest in our health and dig for the correct information, inform our healthcare practitioners, and even switch docs if we find that they refuse to listen to the facts we present.

It will be very interesting to see how this all works out in terms of how big a blockbuster V will become and how slow or fast that journey will be. With a significant portion of docs holding attitudes like the doc in the Philly piece we may not see some of the highest sales projections offered up by some of us on this board. Concerning to the point for me that these ignorant attitudes as such might even be a drag on sales if the whole operation was run by.a BP, albeit that big BP are pretty good at selling even the lousiest drugs.

A big key will be how completely and how quickly all the insurance companies lower their tiers on V. 2020 should answer a number of these questions although the full answers may have to wait until virtually the end of the year since DTC advertising won’t begin until the 3rd quarter.
