What I find most interesting about this patent is that the glass fusion temperature is 800*F. This is also the transition temperature of LM. It makes me wonder if the glass front and back plates will be fused to the LM midframe, making it one unibody construction. Perhaps they are making Job’s dream come true of a “single sheet of glass” iPhone. Remember BMG is “glass” so when articles speak of an “all glass” iPhone, the midframe (structural portion) is likely metallic glass.
