There's more here than that, I believe.

They may have a revenue recognition issue:
Deferred revenue vs. recognized revenue
Returned/unpaid for product for revenue already recognized.

Just speculation based on the timing, the inventory issue, and knowing what happens in corporate at the end of a quarter regarding such things.
