Concapk, I'll preface this by saying that I don't have to justify myself to you. But I will humor you.

Sure you did.... I truly believe that you really think you bought shares in 2018....

Yep, in Q1 of 2018. Between then and 9/18 I accumulated 7,100 shares. On 9/25 I sold half of those shares and bought October and November options. In December of 2018, I sold the remaining shares and bought 111 LEAPs. Since then I have maintained that position, rolled over some into a ROTH, gifted my parents $ for an IRA and purchased LEAPs in that account, and opened positions in my robinhood cash account.

These are the transactions I made in 2018, beginning in Q1 through 9/18:


You can use your sleuthing skills to figure out when those transactions were by using my cost basis. A hint is that the last one was on 9/18/18, and the first one was in March of 18.

I'm a small fry. 7,000 shares is nothing compared to many here. I wish I had not, but I sold about 1/2 of my position in Sept and October of 2018. I put a portion of those proceeds into Trevena, and put the rest into 2020 and 2021 AMRN options.

In December of 2018, I sold another 2,800 shares and converted those proceeds into Jan 2021 options to add to the ones I had purchased in September and October.




To date, I have not touched those 111 Jan 2021 calls, other than to roll 31 into my Roth in early 2019.
