Been in the trades for 25 years, 8 years owning my own outfit, and have been called for my initial mobilization as originally scheduled possibly twice lol. It is no "one's" fault typically. Overly optimistic schedules presented by eager beaver office jockey construction contractors wanting to win the customer's business is also the culprit occasionally. Before I started my own business and was working as an employee, I never saw the scope of what actually is the processes that go into accomplishing even the smallest of projects (especially: food service, ADA, busy urban locations, permitting:) and inspections, etc.). If I were Roger, I would find a stud project manager. Not one that promises the world. One that executes. We as a company should not be involved in the construction beyond design imo. Our focus needs to be on the board game sector. We as investors need to realize that as well I think. We want Roger and Ben to be out there grinding for the next publisher to buy, or meeting with potential franchisees. These are the types of things that are important to focus on for management. I hope Roger and Ben dont have to spend much if anytime dealing with the construction process at all tbh. Unless Roger is in a plow truck clearing snow so that a flatbed loaded with sheetrock can backup to the entrance, he better be peddling board games and board game accessories;)
