That is incorrect---
You can trade as soon as the split shares show up in your account--

I owned FOAM and it split on Friday..10 for 1,, after the close---some folks were trading Monday morning,, but I had to wait until Wed morning as Fidelity did not show my shares until then---cost me $90K
