Tal...The FDA has, for years, refused to make a decision as to whether DS are drugs or supplements...This is why Amarin turned to the FTC ...possibly politics has been involved here...DS are costing American consumers millions of dollars and have been proven ineffective...I believe these fish oils are banned in Europe due to several, recently failed studies ...Amarin will now have to turn back to the FDA and point out these facts and urge them to make a decision...the science has changed ...and so should the FDA...politics not withstanding.
