Future will be much like the present, only longer. LOLOL! I forget who said that.
AAA stocks are much rarer but more stocks pay dividends these days. Shouldn't corps be taking advantage of ultra low interest rates to borrow to boost profits? It's almost business malpractice to NOT borrow at 2%. Many assets don't appear on balance sheets such as employee quality and education.
Meanwhile my entire stock portfolio is in respected exchange listed stocks, quality corp and muni bonds and some solid real estate. And a bit of gold.
Have another asset that is likely to survive any financial collapse... smart, educated kids who are even more sensible than I am.
I worry more about Washington and the dumb electorate than the economy
