Same. I know ALPP is a solid golden bull and am holding strong with iron hands but I agree spikes are for flippers/scalpers not investors. 100-200% spikes can hurt a stock short term, taking longer to arbitrarily approach the intrinsic value. 10-20% gains that hold with consolidation before climbing again, strengthens hands and doesn’t send investors selling to minimize losses; then, scurrying to find out what’s wrong or going on with the company. Also, Volatility can scare investors off from even investing as well or become fed up to re-invest/stay invested.
