I asked him if we had a block of 30% of the shares would he put a new member on the board. His answer was "I am happy with the board that I have"

If he did try to give himself preferred stock to block a vote I would assume a total shareholder revolt and lawsuit would happen. He might be pompous and conceded but he is not stupid.
