IMO...Ballpark estimates of recoveries:

Assumptions:

75/25 to the end

WMB & WMBfsb recoveries within bankruptcy jurisdiction = $40 billion

Non-banking Recoveries outside bankruptcy jurisdiction:

Real estate = ?

Mineral rights = $47 billion

Beneficial interests in MBS Trusts = $182 billion

Credit Default Swap contracts paid out = $23 billion

Therefore:

$40 billion + $47 billion + $182 billion + $23 billion = $292 billion not including compounded interest for ten years
