FDA gave warnings to companies that make claims that CBD products treat disease etc.. something that they want only drugs to be able to do since Big Pharma spend millions on drug trails to prove the claims.. also FDA still says that CBD can't be added to food since Epidiolex (which is CBD) was approved as a drug over a year ago and you can't add drugs to food.. that be said FDA still hasn't release regulations and they said they will give update within next few weeks.
