I agree completely, however it’s a current value now that they need. So appreciation and depreciation will come into play down the road.

How are car dealerships valued? Is it cost to make the car or is it the asking price? If Rotman’s caught fire what value would the insurance company use to replace inventory? I don’t know, but would assume the asking price because that is the value someone is putting on the items.
