My motive was clearly stated. I got burned once on a supposedly game-changing biotech. It was a painful but instructive lesson not to get suckered into an investment that sounded too good to be true. I have seen companies like Anavex many times since then and they share many similarities that raise red flags. The history of Anavex under Missling demonstrates a clear pattern of behavior that I have seen many times before. Confidence and optimism from CEO followed by missed milestones, obfuscation and implausible excuses.
