Well I guess you are not familiar with Vascepa..Currently Vascepa is indicated for Very high trigs only...and it is currently Tier 4...Which is $150/month on CVS Silver Scripts. Unless you have very high trigs...When it gets only the Secondary indication it will be Tier 2 if you meet the Secondary criteria which is a history of CVD and are on max statins...Cost about 15$/month

If you do not match the Secondary criteria and Primary is not FDA approved then you will be paying Tier 4 which is 150$/month...

I know because I am a MD clinician and also am taking Vascepa off label..How about you..are you an MD ? A clinician?..

If you listened carefully to the panel discussion on the Primary Indication they mentioned that including the primary indication on the label would allow physicians to make the decision on which patients Would be on Vascepa and not the insurance companies....Most insurance companies do not give top consideration to off level prescriptions...Otherwise why was the subject even discussed at the AdCom...
