zumantu, Another good set of articles which indicate:

1. EPA (Vascepa) may help protect the brain. (I believe at some point
it will be obvious that Vascepa, at the right dose, may protect the
brain from developing some, if not all forms of dementia. Perhaps
a future slogan for that will be "good heart health is good brain
health.")
2. Inflammation is involved with cancer. (If one understands why Merck's
Keytruda Cancer drug is being used in over 1000 clinical trials right
now, someday the same might be done with Vascepa. At some point Vascepa
may be used as an adjunct medication in fighting certain cancers. Most
likely this will have to be a path taken with BP once they are more
involved with Vascepa. Given the synergy between statin meds and
Vascepa, I wonder if there are certain cancer drugs that would have
far better outcomes for the patients if they were also on Vascepa.)

Right now AMRN has to devote its energy to launching Vascepa in the
US with the soon to be expanded label and complete the EMA filing.
I wonder what it might take to kick-start additional research into
EPA for use as a cancer drug? Maybe an issue that BP will help solve?
