Not a clinical hold technically

"MRKR did not have to alert immediately on the hold. Technically, it is not a clinical hold as in the IND was not yet granted, the first patient wasn't dosed, the trial had not yet begun. A hold yes, however very different from a "clinical" hold and especially one due to safety issues. The safety was acknowledged and additionally the actual trial protocol itself was never in question. Safety issues or trial protocol issues would be major concerns."
