Up till now I've avoided discussing politics with you, Gary, as you've always seemed pleasant enough... and you are, of course, a fellow amphibian. I don't think things have always been so black & white, (see video link at end of post) but I officially stopped supporting Trump after he screwed over the Kurds. (& our special forces embedded with them.)

What he did was bad enough, but to then see him trash our allies after all they did for us, and to see people mindlessly cheer him on as he was lying to their faces and praising Erdogan at a subsequent rally was quite disturbing.

I think the best thing for the country at this point might be someone half-senile like #Joe30330 with a GOP Senate and split House. It's probably best to have a situation where no one can get anything done b/c politicians and most of their "big ideas" usually suck, IMO. If Dems really want to win in 2020, then they better give the voters something better than Gooney Elizabeth or Commie Bernie.
