LQMT is only responsible for ISO 10993 as a material (not product to be associated with).

LM-105

LM-106c
https://www.liquidmetal.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Flier_Biocompatibility_v100919.pdf

Design Guide 5.0 did not contain info about 10993 Biocompatibility

"This process confirmed the material’s suitability for minimally invasive medical devices".

Invasive medical devices certification should be done by end customer. It means customer has successfully completed its in house test (perhaps not ISO certified yet)

Devil in the detail.

DC-106C was parametrized on SALT FOG in this report. It seems to indicate less favorably when compared to LM105

SALT FOG
• ASTM B117 standard ranks LM105 as good as the best crystalline alloys.
• Liquidmetal amorphous alloys can be repassivated after bead blasting for medical applications.
• Bead blasted and passivated surfaces are comparable to Titanium 6-4 in salt fog environments after 336 hours.

However, design guide 5.0 now shows LM-106c "Pass" on SALT SPRAY after 1000 hours (>>> 336 hours)
