But after six months, even a year later, his actions - or lack thereof - have proven otherwise.

I hoped for a quick pop as well, but anyone who assumed that everything would go as according to plans, has never run a business. My first business purchase took 6 months to get the accounting straightened out so we could make a decision. By the time everything was said and done, it was probably 10 months before we bought. That was a $400k private business, not a multi million dollar business that requires state and federal oversight.

If Sharp was able to find those dead shares, we likely would be sitting at .15 by now. The delay in finding those shares has made the deal substantially more complex. Any partnership or financing would become difficult knowing that almost half the outstanding shares could become a significant problem. For example, someone owning 30% of the dead shares could go to a lengthy court battle to wrestle control of a successful holding company. This is the main reason for the reverse split. It eliminates that risk.

Now that Sharp is forced to do an anal probe of past management activities, there is a good chance that at least a good portion of those shares will be found. It is even possible that the RS will not be needed.
