Every September the iPhone has been finalized by the beginning of that month, however, nothing is confirmed until the Apple event makes it official.

The same logic should apply here, it’s going to be confirmed once it’s ready to be announced. At least we know something could possibly be cooking behind the scenes. And quite frankly, it’s happening fairly quickly after AWs passing.
