On a larger scale, Starbucks doesn't have any trade secrets. But when you think coffee franchise, Starbucks is the name. In my opinion Snakes has that potential in the BGC industry. For Starbucks, and any industry leader, supply chain is of paramount importance. Snakes, through the last few years has exponentially increased its size and scope in that area. Through an increase in distribution capability and continuous growth in distribution deals, Snakes is positioning themselves to succeed far beyond just cafe revenues (not to take anything away from those revs). You are in a great position in an industry if you sell your competition's product to them. The publishing wing of Snakes is also a differentiator. These steady revenue streams, while not as "sexy" as a new cafe, are going to be the backbone of Snakes going forward. Snakes stands to make money whether or not people decide to go to a Snakes and Lattes Cafe for an evening of FUNN, or go online and order any number of games distributed or even produced by Snakes and play them at home. Snakes has the utmost of respect from the insiders of the industry, and are considered the gold standard in both game fulfillment and Cafe experience. It is my opinion that Snakes has a very successful and lucrative business model that will be very, very difficult for anyone else to compete with going forward.
